How it works

A rotor, a pickup, and honest numbers.

Fluid entering the meter spins a precision-bladed rotor mounted axially in the flow path. Rotation speed is directly proportional to fluid velocity, and a magnetic pickup above the rotor converts each blade pass into a clean pulse train — flow rate and total, straight from first principles.

The axial rotor presents little obstruction, so pressure drop stays low across a wide measuring range. In clean or filtered fluids the ATFM-100 holds ±1% of reading with excellent repeatability, and its stainless steel body handles corrosive media, line pressures up to 64 kg/cm² depending on size and connection, and process temperatures to 150°C.

Application Engineering

Clean, low-viscosity fluids — measured mechanically.

The ATFM-100 is best suited to clean, low-viscosity fluids: water, demineralised water, fuels, light oils, and solvents.

Fuel & light-oil transfer

Fuels, light oils and solvents are exactly the clean, low-viscosity media a turbine meter is built for — diesel dispensing, fuel-oil day tanks, and solvent batching all sit inside the rated envelope. Fit a strainer or filter upstream to protect the rotor from suspended solids.

Water treatment & utility lines

In filtered water and demineralised-water service the meter holds ±1% of reading with excellent repeatability, and the SS304/SS316L body withstands treated-water chemistry. Keep the pipe running full at the meter for stated accuracy.

Batching, dispensing & OEM skids

Each rotor blade pass produces one clean pulse, so the pulse output drives batch controllers, PLCs and totalisers directly — with near-instantaneous response for start/stop dispensing cycles on process skids.

Not suitable for slurries, fibrous media or high-viscosity fluids — for those, see the AEFM-100 electromagnetic flow meter.

Process Connections

Flanged or G-Threaded — the same meter.

The ATFM-100 is supplied with a flanged process connection across the full size range, or with a G-threaded connection on DN15–DN100; connection type is selected at order. Core measurement, material and electronic specifications are common to both versions — pressure rating and dimensions vary with size and process connection. Full dimensional detail is in the datasheet.
